The easiest way to get to Kranjska Gora is by car via the A10, which leads from Salzburg to Villach. At the Villach junction, which is about 20 km from the Austrian border with Slovenia, take the A2, then the B 83 and B 109. After crossing the neighboring village of Podkoren, winter holidaymakers reach the idyllic village of Kranjska Gora.

There is also a small train station in Kranjska Gora. Long-distance trains usually run via the somewhat larger train station in Jesenice, which is around 20 km away. The nearest airport is in Ljubliana, about 80 km away. Ljubliana is the capital of Slovenia and the largest city in the country.
