In the heart of the Kitzbuheler Alps lies the famous Kitzbuhel , popular celebrity ski resort and venue of the legendary Hahnenkamm race. On the Kitzbüheler Horn, Resterhöhe, Pengelstein and Hahnenkamm to the Ehrenbachhöhe and the Gaisberg, the well-groomed 230 kilometers of slopes extend, on the Hahnenkamm is the world-famous “Streif” descent.
By the way: the connecting cable car in the valley, which runs from Kitzbühel to Westendorf, is appropriately called “Streifzug”. Access to the considerable Kitzbuhel Ski Area is in Jochberg, Aurach, Kitzbühel and Kirchberg.
