Why Ski In St Christoph?
Eight kilometres up the road from St Anton, the pretty village of St Christoph is no more than a handful of large hotels at the foot of some gentle slopes. It is a popular base with families and couples looking for tranquil surroundings, the convenience of doorstep skiing and quick access to the amazing Arlberg ski area.
Our professional view is that while St Christoph has amazing skiing, it is on the dark side of the valley and consequently one of the colder areas to reside, however, the upside of near guaranteed excellent snow conditions is one well worth rmembering.

Small, refined, traditional. Located at 1,800 m above sea level, St. Christoph is one of the Alps´ highest ski resorts: a spacious yet very cozy mountain village offering 700 guest beds. St. Christoph became famous in the 14th century when the shepherd Heinrich Findelkind built a hospice as a shelter against the whims of nature.
Today St. Christoph offers a few hotels and inns. The evenings are best whiled away in rustic lounges where you can sample hearty dishes, fine wines and happy laughter. You will make new friends and return home full of happy memories.
