Oberndorf Spartan Race

Oberndorf is a small village just outside of Kitzbuhel, it is close to all the amenities and nightlife of Kitzbuehel yet quiet enogh to enjoy a peaceful location.

There is a lovely outdoor municipal swimming pool and is an ideal location for hiking both easy level and into the Kitzbueheler Alps for the more adventurous.

There are a small selection of Hotel’s and Apartments as well as some quaint restaurants in the village. There is also on the north side of the resort the lovely Hotel Penzingerhof which is ideal for families and groups, but also a highly rated Restaurant that is used by local Kitzbuehelers in the know.

The Hotel Tyrol is also nearby both have their own spa facilities and have been recognised as ideal locations for business groups.

You can reach Oberndorf in Tirol from Airports : Salzburg, Innsbruck and Munich as well as organise Private Transfer.

From Oberndorf there is a direct train into Kitzbuehel which takes c5 minutes to either Kitzbuehel Hahnenkamm Station or Kitzbuehel Main Station as well as nearby St Johann and Kirchberg. The train will also go directly to Innsbruck City Station – all in all we can recommend Oberdorf as a Secret Location that has easy access to both Lively Villages or Innsbruck City.

For skiing it is possible to visit the Kitzbueheler Alps, Oberndorf’s small nursery slopes, StJohann and the Wider Kaiser Ski Welt
