From 1,500 to 3,000 meters above sea level, the Crans Montana ski holidays area offers itself in front of a breathtaking panorama through its 140 kilometers of marked trails facing south. With slopes for all levels ranging from the peaks overlooking the Plaine-Morte glacier to the golf course on the high plateau, passing by the snowpark and its superb halfpipe, the area is varied and promises days of skiing and unforgettable snowboarding.
And after the effort, the comfort! With more than 20 mountain restaurants, some of which run by renowned chefs, there’s no shortage of opportunities to stop on a sunny terrace.
Crans Montana is also the host of the Alpine Skiing World Cup events. Each year, the best athletes compete on the formidable Mont-Lachaux piste, offering a thrilling spectacle.
HIKES & WALKS
WALKING ROUTES FOR ALL TASTES
In Crans Montana, there are a thousand and one ways to enjoy winter and snow. Many paths await walkers and families, from short walks in the resort to more remote excursions, at altitude. The Aminona region, a paradise for life in the wild, will make you experience particularly magical hikes, with a breathtaking view of the mythical alpine peaks. On snowshoes, on foot or even in sealskin, there is something for everyone!

And for ski touring enthusiasts, our hiking park offers 15 routes of different levels (blue, red and black). Unique in the world, it offers an elevation gain of more than 8,000 meters over more than 40 km of marked and secure paths and includes three introductory courses as well as a course called “La X’trême”. These sealskin trails were developed in collaboration with Séverine Pont-Combe, ski mountaineering champion. They are reserved exclusively for the practice of ski touring.
NORDIC SKIING
A VAST PARK HIKE
Crans Montana offers 15 new ski touring routes (blue, red and black) on more than 40km of marked and secure paths. Unique in the world, this gigantic hike park offers a positive elevation of over 8,000 meters. Suitable for beginners and advanced alike, it includes three introductory courses as well as a course called “La X’trême” with 3,000 d + and four climbs. These sealskin trails were developed in collaboration with Séverine Pont-Combe, ski mountaineering champion.
The Rando Parc is only open during the opening hours of the ski area. The routes are therefore closed and unprotected outside of the ski lifts’ operating hours. Before leaving, all users must consult the opening of the planned route.CONSULT THE OPENING OF THE COURSES
SNOW ISLAND
AN ISLAND OF LEISURE AND SLIDING ON THE GOLF COURSE!
The Bibi Snow Island, from December to March, an island of leisure and sliding on the flat of the famous Severiano Ballesteros golf course! It is the meeting place for families in winter: snowtubing and carpet lift for beginners and sleders. There is also an indoor and outdoor refreshment bar, where it is good to stop, facing the majestic Alpine panorama.
Be sure to stop by the Maison de Bibi to visit Bibi, the famous mascot marmot of Crans Montana who welcomes children of all ages to his house on the golf course all winter. Many events and activities are on offer, all supervised by the staff of Crans Montana Tourism and Congress.

A MYTHICAL SNOWPARK
Freestyle enthusiasts will find in the Cry d’Er area one of the best snowparks in Switzerland. Experienced riders and freestylers can try their hand at one of the 10 permanent Olympic-sized halfpipes around the world, as well as numerous rails, boxes, jumps and more. An airbag and an “easy snowpark” section allow beginner skiers and snowboarders to learn about the pleasures of freestyle. A ski and snowboard cross of professional quality is also available to lovers of skiing and thrills.
