At an altitude of 1,710 m with guaranteed snow, the lively Soldeu is located directly on the slopes of the largest ski area in the country, the Grandvalira. Like the neighboring El Tarter, the place is one of the resorts that ideally develop the lift network and is also known as the venue for various FIS races on the World Cup calendar.

Thanks to the connecting road, Soldeu is very well connected to the capital Andorra de Vella and the other ski resorts and is a crowd-puller not only for Spaniards and French. Due to the direct hillside location, you can enjoy a great view of the Pyrenees from many places.

The townscape is characterized by houses in the chalet style with stone walls and wooden roofs, and numerous restaurants, bars and dance halls ensure that there is no boredom even after a day of skiing. A leisure center with thermal spa, swimming pool and ice rink provides additional entertainment. Everyone, young or old, will spend a fulfilling winter holiday here – and that in front of a unique mountain panorama beyond the Alps.

Grandvalira

Right on the border with France is the Grandvalira region, which extends over the two Andorran districts Encamp and Canillo and is the largest ski area in the Pyrenees. Thanks to its favorable geographical location, great snow quality and sunny skiing days are almost guaranteed!
