Night skiing Hopfgarten

The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental offers the special experience of night skiing in the three ski areas of Söll, Brixen and Westendorf. 

The absolute highlight is the SkiWelt Söll, because it is the largest night skiing area in Austria! 10 kilometers of groomed slopes spread over five runs are illuminated until late at night. 

Three times a week, from Wednesday to Saturday, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy themselves in the area of ​​the Hochsöll gondola and the Keat and Hexen6er chairlifts until 9.45 p.m. 

In addition to the slopes, there is the “Hans im Glück” fun arena at the 4-seater chairlift, which is illuminated for nighttime shredding fun. A night toboggan run at the Hochsöll gondola and several ski huts round off the evening offer. Night skiing in Söll also has its price:

There is also a 300 m long blue night ski slope at the Schusterbühel lift near Brixen, which is illuminated continuously until 7 p.m. In Westendorf, on the practice area, the 4-seater chair lift invites you to go night skiing every Tuesday on a 500 m long slope. There is also a fee for night skiing in Westendorf and Brixen.

Après-ski Hopfgarten

In addition to unforgettable and eventful days on the slopes, Hopfgarten offers numerous alternatives such as: B. two toboggan runs, horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice skating and curling. At the Husky Ranch Angerberg there are interesting insights into the world of sled dog sports. Why don’t you try a sled dog trial course!

Various bars, restaurants and huts also ensure entertainment and culinary well-being. Those who would like to end the day with a drink and good music will definitely get their money’s worth in the “Ambiente”, the “Rundell Cafe Après Ski Bar” and the “Six Pence”!

Snowpark: Hopfgarten

In the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental there are four great snow parks and a ski course at your disposal. The easiest way to get to Crazy Kangaroo Park Söll from Hopfgarten is at the Rinner chairlift, which is equipped with a splendid set-up. 

At an altitude of 1,220 m, 12 elements are waiting to be stormed. Newbies can take their first steps in the beginner area with kickers and a fun box. 

The medium area then awaits advanced riders with boxes, kickers with a table of up to 10 m, a downrail and various jib elements. A special highlight is the 450 m long Funny Bird Slope at the Salvenmoos chairlift, which is divided into two lines. Here you can put your creativity to the test on corners, boxes, jumps, a 7 m long tunnel or a snail.

Anyone looking for additional freestyle fun will find the “Intersport Kaiserpark” in Ellmau and the “Big Playground” in Westendorf. Here, too, there are many exciting obstacles for all skill levels. There is also a wide range of activities for beginners thanks to the mini playground on the practice area in Westendorf and the Hans im Glück ski course at the “Hans im Glück” gondola.

SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental ski area

The Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser is the largest ski area in Tyrol and one of the largest connected ski areas in Austria with 284 kilometers of slopes.

90 lifts, several children’s areas for the youngsters, snow parks for freestylers, ski routes for deep snow fans and modern snowmaking are part of the popular ski area’s recipe for success. There are several access points along the two valleys, for example in Brixen im Thale and Westendorf. On the northern side of the mountain there are valley stations in Going, Ellmau, Scheffau, Söll and Itter.

After skiing, some just want to go to bed, while others are still full of energy. For families, for example, there is one of the three night toboggan runs with lighting, while all party-goers will find all genres of music in one of the numerous huts.
