The well-known town of Saalbach is located at an altitude of 1,003 m in the midst of a wonderful mountain scenery. The Glemmtal, once a poor farmer’s valley, is captivating today with its lively places and is a true winter sports paradise. The bypass tunnel made the town centre practically car-free, so that a leisurely stroll through the pedestrian zone is possible without any problems.
The distances to the lifts and slopes are extremely short and the sports, après-ski and cultural offerings leave nothing to be desired. A look at the activities on offer shows that there is almost nothing here that is not there! Whether cozy shopping in the pedestrian zone or bowling, tobogganing, snow rafting and tubing, ice skating or romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides – there are no limits to your imagination!

The Saalbach-Hinterglemm region lies in the middle of the Glemmtal in the incomparable winter world of the Salzburg region. The area belongs to the well-known Kitzbühel Alps and impresses with a variety of leisure activities. Here vacation is not just a pleasure, but a pure experience.

A bypass tunnel in both districts made it possible to build a pedestrian zone throughout the local area, which improves the recreational value even more. And when it gets dark, the nightlife pulsates in numerous huts, bars, pubs and restaurants.

The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn offers skiing pleasure at the highest level and with 270 kilometers of slopes is one of the largest and best ski areas in Austria. Beginners, families and experts have 140 km of blue, 112 km of red and 18 km of black runs available, so that cool, varied turns are guaranteed and you can quickly collect a few kilometers of downhill runs .
With 70 cable cars and lifts, over 60 cozy ski huts , numerous snow parks , a freeride park , floodlit slopes and toboggan runsthe popular ski region in Salzburg becomes one of the most diverse Austrian ski areas.
